What to do in Altea

There is a lot to do in Altea, from exploring the charming Old Town (Casco Antiguo) to hiking in the stunning mountain ranges.  Make sure you see the parish church of "Nostra Senyora del Consol", and enjoy a refreshing drink on the Plaza de la Iglesia.  You will find amazing views from the many Miradors around the Casco Antiguo  There are also plenty of activities available in the surrounding area, such as swimming in the clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea or horseback riding in the lush countryside.

The Altea street market is worth a visit, and takes place every Tuesday on Carrer de la Filarmónica.
